We are taught to look at goalsetting and how to achieve goals by putting the focus on action and not worry about the intention. Life is not a checklist.

Ever set a goal and be super excited about it? Like you just can’t wait to get it completed? Maybe you have sacrificed some adventures with your family so you could get that project done. Or you have this one last bit of work to finish up and then you can step back. With goalsetting, you can put in a ton of effort to tick the box. Maybe you’ll get what you want… time to do what you want, maybe a promotion or more money. Sometimes you must put things aside to get what you want most.

We are taught to look at goal setting and how to achieve goals by putting the focus on action and not worry about the intention. Don’t get me wrong, the action is how we get things done. But, when we lose our attachment to the goal, we forget why we are pursuing the goal in the first place.
