Hard conversations come in all shapes and sizes. They’re tough because we often get caught up in what others will do or say. We start trying to predict actions, thoughts and emotions of others who are involved. And so we often put them off. This can have a huge impact (bigger than the one you were thinking about in the first place!).

When you can come from a place of curiosity and respect, you can create an atmosphere of shared curiosity and respect – which is the fuel a courageous conversation needs.

This worksheet helps you distill fact from fiction and allows you the space to start to see the topic, issue or concern from a different point of view.

Take some time to plan out tough conversations, and take the time to actually have it. Believe it or not, courageous conversations build a relationship, even when at first blush it might seem you’re ending one.
